About Madeline Bartley

Madeline Bartley was born in Louisville, Kentucky and attended Murray State University where she received her B.F.A. in printmaking and drawing. She earned her M.F.A. in studio arts from Syracuse University’s College of Visual Performing Arts in 2016. A recipient of Quilting By the Lake Scholarship and the Turner Residency in Los Angeles, CA., she is featured in Syracuse Women’s Magazine and Boxcar Press Blog: The Inquisitive Printer. She has exhibited her work in solo and group shows including exhibitions at the Hand Held Gallery (Melbourne, Australia), Walnut Ink Projects (Michigan City, IN), The Rogue Space (New York, NY), and the Museum of Latin American Art (Long Beach, CA). Currently she lives in Buffalo, New York.

Her studio is in the TriMain Building, 2495 Main Street, Buffalo, NY, where she is a resident artist of Buffalo Arts Studio. She has been a member of this community since February of 2021.
